The Lord led NBC in 2015 to appoint Simeon Western as the pastor of NBC. Simeon came under deep conviction of sin at the age of 5 and was led to the Lord by his mother. At the age of 7, Simeon surrendered to full time ministry after hearing a powerful message on the cross by Evangelist Tom Williams, preached at Northside Baptist Church. Simeon is married to Kate and together God has blessed them with six children. Simeon is a graduate of Sydney Bible Baptist College and has been burdened for many years for Adelaide and his home state of South Australia. His desire is to preach the whole counsel of God, believing the Word of God is perfect and the great need of the hour for the saving of the lost and the edification of the believers. In 2021 Simeon launched this website with the aim of making verse by verse expository preaching from the pulpit ministry of NBC available to a wider audience of like minded believers. It is his prayer that it will be used of God for the edification of the saints and the salvation of the lost.
